About Me

I’m Veia, photographer, storyteller, writer and every day adventurer.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Photography through Deakin University and have since gone on to work in digital and print publications across a range of industries. As both a journalist and photographer, I am a multifaceted storyteller.

My passion lies in curating meaningful stories, about life, people, culture, travel, nature, craft, design and art. Armed with an insatiable desire to chase the truth behind every story and a natural curiosity, I tell authentic stories that seek to not only inform, but to impact readers.

I have always been a storyteller, I was the kind of kid that would play make-believe and dress ups for hours, and as soon as I figured out how to write, I started writing stories. I picked up a camera for the first time when I was about 8 years old, and I haven’t put one down since. I’ve done just about every kind of photography, from portrait, to landscape, to wildlife, to lifestyle, to weddings, to property, thematic series and cataloguing all my everyday adventures.
